Spirit Crystal Academy was founded by Jade Rowan, BACH (Dip. Adv), a Crystal Healing Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher and certified coach who has been working with crystals for more than 15 years.Jade completed a two-year Advanced Diploma in The Art of Crystal Healing with The British Academy of Crystal Healing in 2013 and brings more than a decade of professional practice, teaching and mentoring experience to every course.
There isn't just one way to work with crystals, and there isn't one right place to start either.

If you're ready to take your crystal healing knowledge to a professional level, the Crystal Healing Practitioner course is an in-depth training programme delivered through six months of private one-to-one teaching and mentoring.Rather than completing a largely self-directed online programme, you'll work closely with me throughout your training. This gives us time to build your knowledge progressively, explore questions in depth, develop practical skills and spend more time on anything where you need additional guidance or confidence.The programme includes 20 core modules plus 2 bonus modules, live one-to-one teaching, personalised mentoring, coursework, practical experience, in-person and distance case studies and an observed practical assessment.Because I'm working with you throughout the programme, I get to know your strengths, your questions, your learning style and the areas where you may need additional support. I’m Jade Rowan, a Crystal Healing Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher, certified life coach and founder of Spirit Crystal Academy. I’ve been working with crystals for more than 15 years and have worked professionally with clients since completing my crystal healing training in 2013.
I studied for two years with The British Academy of Crystal Healing, gaining an Advanced Diploma in The Art of Crystal Healing. Since then, I’ve built more than a decade of experience across crystal healing, Reiki, energy healing, coaching, teaching and mentoring, alongside additional training in counselling skills.
Over the years, I’ve worked with private clients, taught students internationally, written about crystal healing for Soul & Spirit magazine, and created my own crystal healing courses, including the six-month Crystal Healing Practitioner training.
Spirit Crystal Academy brings all of that experience together. The courses I teach today have grown from years of professional practice, working directly with clients and students, and continually developing the way I teach crystal healing.
My coaching background has also had a huge influence on the way I teach. I’m not interested in simply handing you information and asking you to memorise it. I want you to understand what you’re doing and why, ask questions, develop your own judgement and build the confidence to work with crystals in a way that combines knowledge with intuition.
My own interest in crystals started much earlier. When I was little, I collected sparkly rocks with Quartz inclusions. Over time, that grew into collecting crystals, wanting to understand more about them and eventually deciding to study crystal healing professionally.
I spent 11 years living in Ibiza, where crystals, healing, coaching and personal development became a huge part of my work. In 2024, I moved to Scotland and now run Spirit Crystal Academy from here, working with students in the UK and internationally.
I believe there are strong foundations worth learning in crystal healing, but I don’t believe there is only one rigid way to work with crystals.
That’s why my teaching combines knowledge, intuition and practical experience.
I’ll teach you the foundations, explain the reasoning behind what we’re doing and give you the knowledge to make informed choices for yourself. At the same time, I want you to develop your intuition, trust your own judgement and discover the way of working with crystals that feels natural to you.
One of my favourite parts of teaching is seeing the point when a student stops constantly wondering whether they’re doing something “right” and starts recognising how much they already know.
Whether you’re completely new to crystals or spending six months with me training as a practitioner, my role is not to turn you into a copy of me. It’s to give you the knowledge, support and experience to become confident in your own way of working.
I created Spirit Crystal Academy because I wanted crystal education to be personal, practical, supportive and genuinely enjoyable.
I want you to leave with more than information. I want you to understand what you’ve learned, know how to use it and feel confident enough to continue developing long after your course has finished.
For some students, that means finally knowing what to do with the crystals they’ve been collecting for years. For others, it becomes the beginning of a professional path as a Crystal Healing Practitioner.

The honest answer is that everyone's experience is different. We all arrive carrying different emotions, challenges and life experiences, so no two sessions are ever the same.

Not at all. Many of my students are complete beginners. I'll guide you step by step, so you never have to worry about feeling overwhelmed or wondering if you're doing something "wrong".
That depends on where you are in your crystal journey.If you're completely new to crystals or want to build a solid foundation, Journey into Crystals or Crystal Healing Foundation are great places to start. If you're ready to train professionally and become a certified crystal healing practitioner, the practitioner course is the next step.If you're still unsure, just get in touch. I'm always happy to help you choose the course that's right for you.
It depends on the course you choose.Journey into Crystals includes a one-hour live session each week, with no homework.Crystal Healing Foundation also includes a one-hour live session each week, with no homework, so it's easy to fit around a busy lifestyle.Crystal Healing Practitioner includes approximately two hours of live training every other week. I recommend setting aside a couple of hours during the alternate week to complete your homework and practise what you've learned, giving you plenty of time to absorb everything at a comfortable pace.
Life happens, and that's one of the benefits of learning one-to-one.If you can't make a session and give me a little notice, we'll simply arrange another time that works for both of us. There's no need to worry about falling behind because your course is tailored around you.
No. You certainly don't need a huge crystal collection.Part of learning crystal healing is understanding which crystals to choose, why you might use them and how to work with them confidently. You can build your collection naturally as you learn.
Yes. Every course is taught live online in one-to-one sessions, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, learn at your own pace and receive personalised guidance throughout your training.
Yes. The Crystal Healing Practitioner Course is a six-month professional training programme combining 20 core modules, 2 bonus modules, live one-to-one teaching, practical work, case studies and personalised mentoring.The course is designed to give you the knowledge, practical experience and confidence to begin offering crystal healing professionally. Some students go on to create their own crystal healing practice, while others take the course simply because they want to develop their knowledge to practitioner level. Both are equally welcome.
